We offer a large range of courses at the Center for CPR & Safety Training, and all of our courses have different prices. You can find information and the price for each class under the classes tab located on the top menu.

Skills check-offs are approximately 30 minutes long. However, in the case that you may need additional practice time, you may want to give yourself extra time in your schedule.

Certifications are typically mailed out within 2-3 weeks from your course completion date. American Heart Association training centers are allowed up to 21 days to deliver the certifications. If you need a proof of completion, please send an email to help@floridaheartsaver.org with your name, contact phone number, course title, and course date.

Yes. Replacement cards are $20. Please send us an email to help@floridaheartsaver.org with the following information. Your name, phone number, name of class you took, and the date of the class. Once we verify your information, we will issue a replacement certification.

If, for some reason, you need to take only one part of a CPR, AED, & First Aid class, please contact our office at (352) 575-0119 for further instructions.

Yes, you may register for classes at your facility by sending an email to class@floridaheartsaver.org. A minimum of 6 confirmed participants are required.

Florida Heartsaver can accept ONLY Visa, Master, and Discover cards at this time. After making a registration on our website, you will receive an email including a secure payment link. Please make your payment as soon as possible to secure your seat for the training.

Unfortunately we do not teach Infant CPR only. However, our "Healthcare Provider(BLS)", "Adult, Child, Infant CPR & AED", "CPR, AED & First Aid" classes all include the Infant CPR module.

Yes, the number of breaks that you receive throughout the entire course is up to the instructor.

All courses that are taught through the American Heart Associaiton are good for two years.

If you are getting certified in Lifeguarding (American Red Cross), your certification is good for 3 years with the exception on your CPR portion of your certification which is good for one year.

We understand that there are many different kinds of CPR courses available and not knowing which one is right for you is often a problem. Below, you will find the name of the CPR course and the individuals who should take such course.

Adult CPR: Students who are part of the College of Health and Human Performance (except TRSM majors), individuals who are enrolled in Argriculture Safety Classes, Scuba Divers, and any one else who wants to be certified in CPR.

Adult/Child and Infant CPR: Students majoring in Tourism, Recreations and Sports Managment, Fitness Instructors, Speech Pathology and any one who is entering the Law Enforcement Field. Employees of Rec Sports are also recommended to take this course.

Healthcare Provider (BLS): Individuals who fall under the following fields: EMT/Paramedic, Nursing, Physical Therapy, Dentist/Dental Assistant and Physician/Physician Assistant and Santa Fe Intro to Health students.

Note: FIRST AID is also a requirement for individuals in the following programs.
TRSM majors, Agriculture Safety Classes, and some Rec Sports employees (ask your supervisor if you need it)

Yes. Please notify Florida Heartsaver by phone at (352) 575-0119 at least 24 hours in advance if you are unable to make the course. Company policy does not permit refunds. However, you may reschedule your class at any other set course date. If you are registered for a class and fail to show up or call after the class, you may attend another class for a $20 rescheduling fee. If you notify us 48 hours prior to the start of the class, the fee does not apply.

We understand things happen. You may reschedule for any of our other class dates with a $20 rescheduling fee.

Although we try our best not to cancel any of our classes, there are times when we do not have enough students to render the class. We require a minimum of 6 students in order to perform the class. You will be notified by phone or email of the class cancellation. You may be transferred into a different class.
